Who is eligible for an FSA ID?

You must have a Social Security number in order to create an FSA ID that can be used with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form. You also must be at least 13 years old.

If you do not already have an FSA ID, you can create an FSA ID.

If you have an FSA ID but do not remember your username, select Forgot Username.

Note: If you verified your email address or mobile phone number during account creation, you can enter your email address or mobile phone number instead of your username.

If you have an FSA ID but do not remember your password, select Forgot Password.

Your password must be between 8 and 30 characters in length, and it must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. Special characters are not required, but the following characters may be included as part of your password:

! # $ % & ( ) * + - . : ; < = > ? @ [ ] ^ _ { } ~

Remember, your password is case-sensitive.
