What is your (the parent’s) FSA ID Password?

Enter your (the parent’s) FSA ID password to sign the student’s Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form electronically.

The application process is faster if the student and you use your FSA ID to sign the application electronically. Both the student and you can apply for and use your individual FSA IDs as electronic signatures.

If you do not already have an FSA ID, select Create an FSA ID. You must have a Social Security number to get an FSA ID.

If you have an FSA ID but do not remember your password, select Forgot Password.

Your password must be between 8 and 30 characters in length, and it must contain at least one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and one number. Special characters are not required, but the following characters may be included as part of your password:

! # $ % & ( ) * + - . : ; < = > ? @ [ ] ^ _ { } ~

Remember, your password is case-sensitive.
